Ah, thank you for correcting me! I have a hard time remembering the spelling. I think it might be because I’ve only seen Lu (I can’t remember her full name right now) call you that. Like, “Damien’ll back soon!” But, anyway, you’re very welcome.I go by many names… Damien, Alex, Alexander, Cas, Casien. My birth name was Alexandria, so some people call me Alex. It’s what I’m called offline. Online you’re more likely to see “Damien”. Lu tends to call me “Damien”, but Kip tends to call me “Alex” because that’s what she’s used to before I decided I was a trans man and took on the name “Damien” officially.
A friend online came up with “Casien”, a combination of Castiel (a character from Supernatural) and “Damien”, since I love Castiel and really relate to him since I’m a lot like him. I took that on as a second name because I liked it so much, so now some people who’ve met me recently will call me “Casien” or “Cas”.

Ah, okay! I’m not in the exact same boat, but something similar: I change my name alot online. So, people will talk to me, and greet me under a different name - Finn and Darwin are the ones that come to mind first.
In any case, I have a question - and, please, keep in mind that I am not trying to be offensive, if I come off as such. I’m just curious - and, please, correct me if I am off-base.
I view your headmates as people - however, I use the term, “people,” loosely, because I believe Lu is an angel, and Kip is a monster from the Bible. They think, they have feelings, they talk - these are all things that people experience!
That being said, I am really curious: How did Kip react when you came to terms with identifying as Female-To-Male? I ask, because I know that there are some people, who are extremely hateful, towards those who identify as transgender. And, because I view your headmates as people, I’m curious as to how they reacted - especially Kip, because you have known eachother the longest. Was she accepting and loving of you, regardless?
Again, I am not trying to be offensive in any way, and, again, I hope that I don’t come off as such. Like I said, I am genuinely curious.
In any case, I do identify as cisgender, but I am a big supporter and ally for the trans community. Just know that you have someone on your side, supporting you - actually, please know that you have someone on your side, regardless.

Same. Why is it such a big deal? I went through a phase where I didn’t like reading paper books because everything I wanted was in hardcover and it’s cumbersome and I would read them on my laptop instead.

I was still reading. I really can’t understand why it’s some kind of war.
This also kind of offends me (oh noes) because I prefer reading books on my Kindle than on paper because my autism makes me particular to certain textures. I hate the feel of paper - it’s too much sensory overload for me at times. Too much sensory overload makes me incredibly anxious, and can send me into “meltdowns” and panic attacks.
Why am I being judged for that? It’s not something I can help. No matter what the reason, as said above, why the fuck does it matter? People are still reading. It’s the same information being delivered in the same way, except the materials are different.
A book is a book is a book, and reading is reading is reading, no matter what the medium.
Personally, I would prefer to read a physical book, than to read a book on a Kindle or a Nook. However, I won’t judge those who like one over the other - it’s just another form of something. Another incarnation, if you will.

Speaking of the family…
Flogging Molly (the band who I saw tonight) played this one particular song:

“Ah, so you guys know it, then? Well, then, sing along!”
And, as I started to sing along, and put my fist in the air, and swoon, I thought of you guys - and I cried. Wet tears rolled my face, to the point where I needed to take my sweatshirt sleeve so that I could wipe and rub my eyes.
You guys mean the world to me - You really do. All of my friends do, and I genuinely mean that (please, don’t ever forget that!). But, the PNFamily… It’s hard to explain, but I have truly never, ever felt (this) accepted and loved by a group of people before. I feel accepted and loved by individual people before, but never by a group of people before. It’s a really new feeling. It’s a wonderful feeling.
The concert was a truly wonderful experience - everything about it was great.
I always classify shows (concerts) as a spiritual experience. Not because you are meeting a higher power, but because you are feeling the music with your body, and the beat of the drum is matching the beat of your heart; Because the music is moving you to dance with all of your being, or it’s moving you to cry, or it’s moving you to sway side-to-side. The best thing, about the whole experience, is this: Everyone around you is (either) feeling or doing the same thing that you are, also, feeling or doing. There is a sense unity - A feeling that you are not alone.
